Returning an item – Damaged
In the event you receive damaged goods we will arrange a replacement item for you. However, it is your responsibility to notify us within 72 hours of receipt that an item has been received damaged (please see risk below).

On receipt of the delivery you, the customer, are responsible for those goods and any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk.
Returning an item – Incorrect
If you receive incorrect goods it is your responsibility to notify us within 72 hours of receipt at which point we will make the necessary arrangements.
Delivery shortages
Firstly, our carrier delivers parcels/packages. Any shortages of them must be reported to the driver on receipt. Secondly, shortages of contents of the parcel(s)/package(s) against the enclosed Brissco advice note must be made within 72 hours.

What is WPC decking?
WPC decking is an alternative decking product made from wood plastic composites, a unique composition that replicates wood without the maintenance of traditional timber decking.
How is WPC decking installed?
Installing WPC decking involves the following steps:
  1. Prepare and build the substructure: Ensure good drainage, keep joists at a maximum of 250mm centres, and allow room for expansion by keeping the WPC subframe set from surrounding walls or obstacles.
  2. Fix the decking boards: Attach the decking boards to the composite decking joists using fixing clips.
  3. Finish the deck: Tidy up the sides with an angle trim.
What should be considered during WPC decking installation?
Key considerations include maintaining good drainage, proper spacing between boards to account for expansion, and allowing the boards to acclimatize on-site for 72 hours before installation.
How to clean WPC decking?
To clean WPC decking:
  1. Pour hot water onto the decking and let it soak for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Work warm water and a neutral soap into the decking using a soft bristle brush.
  3. Either pressure wash to remove soap or rinse down with hot water.
  4. Remove water from the deck with a rubber-edged brush.
  5. Mop up remaining wet areas with a clean mop.
What should be expected regarding color changes in WPC decking?
Color may fade slightly over the first 12 months but will then settle down. It is advisable to store the boards on-site for 72 hours before installation to allow them to acclimatize.
Are there specific considerations for expansion in WPC decking?
Yes, variations in temperature will cause the boards to move, so there must always be a gap between two WPC products to accommodate this expansion.
