Handy Product for Renovation Work

Used this on several jobs now, including removing old silicone around a basin, bath and some window frames. It's particularly useful after you've removed the main bead and are left with the thin stubborn layer that can be difficult to get off. The gel is easy to control and the brush lets you work it accurately into the remaining sealant. It saves a lot of scraping and helps leave the surface ready for resealing. Another good product supplied by Brissco. Ordering was straightforward, the staff were helpful and my materials were available when needed. A useful addition to the toolbox for bathroom, kitchen and general maintenance work.

Very Useful for Window and Glazing Work

We use quite a lot of silicone during window installation and maintenance, so a decent remover is useful to have in the van. This TIMCO product works well for breaking down cured silicone left around frames and glass when replacing old seals. The 100ml bottle is compact and the integrated brush means you can apply a controlled amount exactly where required without wasting it.

Works Well on Stubborn Silicone Residue

Bought this after removing an old shower screen as there was quite a lot of cured silicone left behind on the tiles. After applying the remover and allowing it time to work, the remaining sealant was much easier to lift and scrape away. The gel consistency is good because it stays where you apply it rather than immediately running down the surface. The brush applicator also makes application straightforward.

Used this TIMCO sealant remover when resealing around our bath and shower. The old silicone had gone mouldy and was proving difficult to remove completely.
