Low-Maintenance Woodgrain Composite Cladding

The 145mm Ash White 3C Traditional Composite Cladding combines the attractive appearance of traditional timber cladding with the durability and low-maintenance benefits of modern composite materials. Featuring a realistic woodgrain-effect surface and a fresh Ash White finish, it creates a clean, contemporary exterior suitable for garden rooms, home extensions, outbuildings, offices, workshops and renovation projects.

Manufactured from approximately 55% recycled hardwood, 35% recycled HDPE plastic and 10% additives, 3C Composite Cladding makes use of recycled materials while providing a strong and weather-resistant exterior board. Unlike traditional timber, there's no need for regular painting, staining or treating, helping reduce maintenance throughout the life of the installation.

Each board measures 145mm wide x 3.6m long and incorporates an innovative concealed fixing system. The board is screwed directly to the supporting battens before the next board clicks into position over the fixing. This hides the screws from view and creates a neat, consistent finish across the completed wall.

For a strong and reliable installation, supporting batten centres should not exceed 400mm. When using timber framework, the supporting battens or joists should be securely installed at the correct centres. Where two cladding boards meet at a butt joint, double framework is required to provide adequate support and fixing for both board ends.

The lighter Ash White colour is particularly suited to contemporary garden rooms, extensions and modern exterior renovations, providing a bright alternative to darker composite cladding while retaining the attractive texture and character of timber.

Excellent Alternative to Traditional Timber

We spent quite a while deciding between painted timber and composite cladding before choosing the Ash White 3C, and we're glad we did. It has the traditional woodgrain appearance we wanted but without worrying about regular staining, painting or treating. The finished wall looks very smart, particularly with our anthracite windows and doors. The hidden fixing system also gives it a clean, uninterrupted appearance.

Good Quality Composite Cladding

We've fitted several types of composite cladding, and this 3C system is excellent value. The boards are easy to work with, connect together neatly and create a professional finish with no visible fixings. The Ash White is particularly good if you want something lighter than the usual anthracite and black options.

Really Impressed with the Finished Result

Used this cladding to update an older outbuilding and it has completely changed its appearance. The Ash White colour is clean and contemporary without looking too stark, and the timber-effect grain adds plenty of character.
